And yes, I definitely stick to the original version of his story - that he was cursed by the Mask salesman for trying to steal the Sun's Mask, not just accidentally attacked by a passing Skullkid. Why can't he both be a hero, and have done a bad thing? Sheesh, it's exactly those complex traits that makes a character more believable...
